It is with great regret that the organisers of the Tour of Exmoor Cyclosportive, Pendragon Sports are forced to cancel this year’s event. Despite a record number of entries for the other events in the series which include: Tour of Wessex, Tour of the Black Mountains, Tour des Cols and the Tour of Dartmoor the actual level of sign-up has made it unviable to run the Tour of Exmoor while providing the high level of organisation and facilities that we deem necessary for a high quality event.
While the event will not go ahead as planned, those of you that would still like to ride unsupported please find the attached route instructions and map. Nick Bourne and Paul Croom of Pendragon Sports will be riding the route on the 5th July leaving at 9 am from Porlock Central Car Park (parking charges £3.20 all day). Please note they will be riding at their own pace and will aim to ride the route in about 6 hours plus a short lunch stop.
All persons who have submitted entries will have their fees refunded by cheque by Pendragon Sports and these will be posted shortly. Pendragon Sports apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us via email: postmaster@pendragon-sports.com
Please also note there is a £1 charge for cyclists using Porlock Toll road.

Route Instructions
The Tour of Exmoor has been two years in the planning, but we believe it is worth the wait. The beauty of the area is breathtaking and charmingly diverse from glaciated upland moors to rugged sea cliffs.........as part of the Pendragon Sports Sportive series you can expect the usal standard of organisation.
We have chosen a fantastic location at Sparkhays Farm with sea & hill views, Camping, free hot water & showers, toilets, washing up facilities, laundry room, washing & drying machines, fridge/freezer and public phone. 5 minutes walk to Porlock Village and its shops, pubs, cafes & restaurants. 20 minutes walk down to the sea on South West Coast Path. There are loads of other B&B's in the area, just have a look on the Where to Stay Page.
