About

Exmoor is an area of outstanding natural beauty characterised by glaciated upland moorland and majestic sea views to the North, it has fantastic climbs on which to challenge yourself.

The longest route is  164 km (103 miles) in length and features 4,127meters (13,393 ft) of climbing making this one the hardest sportives in the UK. The Shorter 135 km (85 mile) route is still hard with lots of climbing so choose the route that suites your level of fitness.

We have chosen a fantastic location at Porlock Village Hall  as the event HQ. There are a number of campsites, B&B's and hotels within a mile of the HQ, just have a look on the Where to Stay Page.

The Tour of Exmoor has been two years in the planning, but we believe it is worth the wait. The beauty of the area is breathtaking and charmingly diverse from glaciated upland moors to rugged sea cliffs.........as part of the Pendragon Sports Sportive series you can expect the usal standard of organisation.

We have chosen a fantastic location at  Sparkhays Farm with sea & hill views, Camping, free hot water & showers, toilets, washing up facilities, laundry room, washing & drying machines, fridge/freezer and public phone. 5 minutes walk to Porlock Village and its shops, pubs, cafes & restaurants. 20 minutes walk down to the sea on South West Coast Path. There are loads of other B&B's in the area, just have a look on the Where to Stay Page.
